EVAN AARONSON . (PRESIDENT)
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Evan attended UC Berkeley and graduated from New York University. While pursuing a career in entertainment, he found himself getting massages in order to detox from the stress of the industry. As massage therapy became more accepted, he became intrigued by the idea of bringing massage into the mainstream. After a back injury in early 2003, he began to conduct his own research and found that while the popularity of massage was increasing, it was still not reaching its full potential. This provided a perfect opportunity for Evan to launch a company that would take massage to the next level.
Having worked on various entertainment media ventures over the past 15 years, he had grown accustomed to repackaging concepts and recognizing pop culture trends that were ahead of the mainstream curve. These included the areas of Internet video, reality television, branding independent films (Chicken Soup for the Soul presents), and DVDs for recording artists (Warner Brothers Records).
By marrying his entertainment and business background with his love for massage, Evan will do his best to make massage as big as The Beatles - OK, maybe not that big, but close.
